Underground Pilot

Underground Pilot is an alliance of musicians dedicated to the principle of providing Good Time Rock n Roll Fun. Their music and image is at the same time both sophisticated and delightfully wild. They are an experience unto themselves and love to have fun.

Roy Kessler - BBA; studied marketing at Eastern University. Has been playing the guitar since he was 10 and has been actively involved in the Detroit music scene teaching, recording and performing for over 30 yrs.  He takes his music seriously but believes that music is for everyone and must be fun and uplifting for it to have real merit.

Mike Parmelee – BS; Bachelor of Science at U of D and Eastern Michigan University. Started playing in Moose Clubs at age 14, and Celebrated GM 100yrs with a crowd of ~5000. Music is his passion, and rock-n-roll flows thru his veins. His mission is to get the audience into the music, dancing and singing along with him and the band. 

Bob Buerkle – The baby of the band, Bob is affectionately referred to as ‘The Kid”.  He has been playing music in the Detroit area for over 25 years.  Raised on ‘rock’ n roll, he comes from a family that is very passionate about music, and tries to spread a positive attitude through playing. 

Eric McLeod – Has been playing drums for 38 years. Grew up in the down river Detroit Area and played in bands all over the country from Atlanta to Florida: Michigan to California. Eric enjoys all kinds of music except hardcore country. Eric is a rock steady and extremely dependable musician.
